Great bridal makeup starts weeks before the wedding — with skin that is calm, even and well looked after. You do not need an elaborate regime. You need the right things in the right order, and enough time for your skin to settle between them.
Eight to six weeks before
- Book your bridal makeup artist. In the November–February season, dates go quickly.
- Have a skin consultation, so your facials can be planned for your skin rather than picked off a list.
- Settle into a simple routine at home: gentle cleanser, moisturiser and sunscreen every day.
Six to four weeks before
- Settle your makeup look with your artist, with your outfit colours and jewellery in mind.
- Start your facial course: the Haldi Chandan facial for the classic bridal glow, or Gold or O3+ for deeper radiance.
- If you have tan lines from the sun, start D-Tan sessions on hands, arms and back.
Three to one weeks before
- Have your last facial five to seven days before the wedding, so any redness has settled.
- Stop trying new products, peels or treatments. This is not the time to experiment.
- Book manicure, pedicure and nail art for two or three days before.
The last few days
- Wax two to three days before, and thread brows and face one or two days before.
- Sleep, drink water, and keep skin moisturised.
- On the day, come with clean, moisturised skin and no makeup — we take it from there.
